Northwestern Extract Company is a fourth generation, family owned and operated company for over 100 years.

The business was founded by August C. O. Peter in 1912 in Milwaukee, WI. We began as a brewing supply business that served those small town local breweries with flavorings, extracts and supplies.

As our company grew, we also began to cater to local, larger, Milwaukee brewers such as Pabst, Blatz, Gettelman, and Miller. To this day we provide strategic supply for brewers large and small across the USA and abroad.

We flavored the first carbonated wine cooler to reach the market, and flavor systems we supply have been used in beers that went on to win world brewing medals.

We have been creating exceptional flavor extracts and brewing products consistently for over a century.
